On another note, Ormus' Robes are best if you are looking at pure damage. If I used enigma and sanctuary, I'd drop a cast BP, which means death in most duels. It basically comes down to if you can live with 0 res on your armor, how much you value the str on your armor, and whether you can hit the cast BP's you want. The bonuses and the amount you save in strength is just amazing. Now, the choice is Enigma/Sanctuary or CoH/SS. BOOM there are your resists (do this), and with all the strength I saved and the big plus dex bonus on the shield, it really takes little dex to get to max block. But consider what would change if you throw in a Sanctuary hyperion. As I saw from the poll, people would give up ALL these huge benefits for just 65% resist all (which I agree is huge). OKAY, okay, I will address the resists all argument. Without any shed of doubt, Enigma is WAAAYY better. I get 85% of my mf from it, whereas I’d only be getting 25 from Coh. It’s not a really significant part of the enigma armor, but it’s thrown in with all these other awesome bonuses.įor a sorc who wants to MF like I do, but will take a little less mf over being completely weak (like using skullders), Enigma is the armor. Damage to mana may come in handy to some sorcs, some sorcs not. Increase Maximum life 5% AND plus 14 life after each kill or replenish life +7? I’d take the first anyday. Keep in mind I also have enough dex for Max block!! Enigma let me do this. I currently have just 50 base str at lvl 85, and I REGRET putting in so much!! These str points are transferred to my vitality, so with my FULL mf gear, I have over 300 Vitality. How much str does Enigma give? 60 STRENGTH at Lvl 80!!! CoH gives a measly 20!! This is one of the most important mods on the armor!! It allows me to have VERY little base str. Though for a sorc it’s not that important, it’s still nice to have. +750 defense ALWAYS gives much than 70% enhanced defense. Which of course is COMPLETELY USELESS for a sorc. On the other hand, Coh gives +200% damage to Demons and +100% damage to Undead. It gives her teleport, which saves her two skill points which can be used other places (I did this because I knew I would be using Enigma). Enigma allows the sorc to run/walk faster, which the Coh doesn’t. + (1 Per Character Level) +1-99% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items (Based On Character Level) + (0.75 Per Character Level) +0-74 To Strength (Based On Character Level) I’ve defended it once, and I’ll do it again. I’m prepared to defend the Enigma armor for a sorc to the DEATH!! In my opinion, it is SO much superior to CoH.
